<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The County of Sonoma Department of Health Services is seeking an experienced professional to fill one full-time vacancy for the position of Health Services Business Development Manager.
This position works under general direction to assist in the research, analysis, planning, development, and implementation of critical aspects of the Department of Health Services strategic business plan, particularly in the areas of strengthening funding and program integration strategies to sustain diverse funding opportunities and alignment of investments to strategic goals. Areas of focus include health care reform implementation, transitions in the County Medical Services Program CMSP and Path2Health, the expansion of Partnership Health Plan and other aspects of Medi-Cal managed care, and other non-federal and state funding opportunities. The Health Services Business Development Manager will analyze business opportunities to achieve growth and financial sustainability of County health services, and community-based services that promote health and achieve a more integrated, regional health system. This position will have a leadership role in identifying new business and revenue opportunities, including fiscal leveraging strategies that build community capacity and support partnerships, initiatives, and service delivery models.
The Health Services Business Development Manager may represent the Department of Health Services on local, state, or national committees and collaborations. He or she will have significant responsibility in working with key community partners and convening stakeholders to achieve improved access and integration of behavioral health and primary care. An important responsibility of this position will include working with health care delivery partners to increase access and further develop a more integrated health system. In addition, this position, in coordination with others, will develop recommendations to strengthen funding and care for populations that will remain without medical insurance coverage after the expansion of coverage and implementation of federal health care reform.
