<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Great medical facility in Scotts Valley looking for: Operations SpecialistNow till November Full Time, Great foot in the door to this company!$27-28 per hour80% 1.   Coordinating and supporting standing Operational meetings and ad hoc meetings as assigned, with dutiesincluding but not limited to:* Serving as a key administrative contact and staff support for standing Operational meetings* Responsible for meeting planner management and coordination for assigned standing Operational meetings* Coordinating with relevant staff to ensure that agenda requests and meeting materials are submitted timely and complete;* Staffing other meetings as assigned;* Schedulingrecurring and ad hoc meetings;* Preparing, coordinating and distributing meeting packets;* Preparing meeting exhibits;* Taking, transcribing, and completing meeting minutes; and* Maintaining all associatedrecords for meetings.20% 2.   Performing multiple, high level administrative functions in support of the Projects Director and/or COO, with duties including but not limited to: * Arrangingvirtual and in-personmeetings, including operating video-conference equipment;2.   Answering, directing and placing telephone calls, scheduling telephone and video conference calls as assigned, etc.3.   Creating/updating Excel spreadsheets;* Composing correspondence, following-up, establishing and maintaining tracking records and filing; and5.   Completing general research, special request reports and presentation materials using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Abode Acrobat Professional.5% 4.   Other related duties as assigned.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business or a related field; experience with executive level administrative support and/or analysis, professional committee management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with executive communications, planning and administration, project management, office administration, Microsoft Office software applications, administering virtual-conference meetings, working in a non-profit setting, and the health care industry. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:* Ability to write and speak effectively, clearly, concisely and professionally;* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with committees, providers, executives, co-workers and the public;* Ability to ensure high administrative and service quality.* Ability to assume responsibility and exercise good judgment in making decisions within the scope of authority of the position, including maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.* Knowledge of and proficiency in research, analysis and reporting methods.* Knowledge of health care industry and principles of health care planning.* Knowledge / skill in current office procedures, familiar with standard office business practices;* Knowledge / skill in operating general office equipment (computer, fax machine, scanner, etc);* Thorough knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Windows based PC system, a range of software packages, including MicrosoftWord, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Abode Acrobat Professional.* Ability to define issues, interpret data and define options.* Ability tocommunicate effectively, both orally and in writing.* Ability to create forms and letters, compile reports and various information regarding business operations, administration and other projects, as required.* Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with staff and others contacted in the course of the work.* Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, with flexibility and capacity to identify and administer competing operational priorities in a changing environment with creativity and resourcefulness.* Ability to edit documents and standardize procedures;* Typing at 60 words per minute required;* Ability to think and work effectively under pressure;* Ability to work with minimal supervision;* Ability to p
