Join us and let&rsquo;s make a real difference together.Responsibilities:* PEI technical assurance role supports the operating and maintenance departments. This includes reviewing plant change activities, temporary facilities/repairs, performing audits, to improve unit reliability. Establish inspection intervals for piping and equipment per code requirements and maintain intervals using electronic databases, perform pressure equipment internal and external inspections as well as remaining life calculations.* Generate repair/upgrade/modification recommendations based on inspection findings.* Maintain PEI record keeping and documentation.* Generate turnaround work scope with operations, PEI, and maintenance personnel, plan inspection. items, and support turnaround inspection execution.* Requires significant interfaces with customers in the production and maintenance departments.* Run and improves support and provides pressure equipment expertise.* Requires significant involvement in turnaround activities which will require extended working hours including nights and weekends during these activities, normal work pattern outside of turnarounds is day shifts (9/80 schedule).Requirements:* Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.* High School degree or equivalent (GED).* Minimum five (5) years of experience in the pressure equipment inspection discipline in the petrochemical industry working as an API 510, API 570 or API 653 inspector.* Pass pre-employment background check and physical exam, including drug & alcohol screen.* Must be able to work extended hours including nights and weekends.* Certification in API 653 required API 510, API 570 and API 936 are preferred.* Must be able to pass all the physical requirements and be able to wear a respirator in a confined space.* Valid driver&rsquo;s license.* Must have a TWIC card or be able to obtain one.The Shell Group offers an outstanding benefits package.
