We also develop market models and strategic analyses to support the evaluation of marketing strategy, product development investments, business growth strategies, and product and portfolio optimization.Join our team and together we'll power the sound decisions that enhance value - yours and ours.We are looking for Analysts to join our team in Summer, 2013.Responsibilities:* Collaborating with colleagues to devise innovative solutions to client problems* Working closely with clients and coworkers to formulate financial models* Programming and running models* Performing valuations of businesses and assets in relation to mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and for capital raising* Interviewing experts and performing industry research* Performing data analysis* Writing reports and making presentations* Assisting in developing new business Requirements:* Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Management Science, Financial Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or other quantitative discipline from an accredited college or university* Expected graduation date between December 2012 and August 2013.* Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher OR if school does not use GPA, must be in the top 20% of class.* Solid understanding of mathematical concepts, probability and statistics, and programming* Enjoyment of applying quantitative techniques to challenging, real-world problems* Strong analytical, comprehension and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills* Demonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrity* Willingness to take initiative and responsibility, work independently and master new tasks quickly* Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment* Demonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding resultsIn order to be considered for a position at Duff & Phelps, you must formally apply viawww.duffandphelps.jobs.Duff & Phelps is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment.
