JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>This full-time position for an organized and motivated person is responsible for operation of the bi-weekly Food Program in Solvang and Los Alamos. The Coordinator must organize and oversee food distributions and storage, recruit and retain volunteers, maintain USDA guidelines, maintain program database and generate reports. The Coordinator will pick up additional food from multiple donation sites and maintain an emergency food pantry.
The Coordinator will also provide initial intake and screening of clients in need of assistance with basic needs, provide ongoing support and case management for clients with multiple needs, serve as back-up for the domestic violence coordinator during daytime hours, maintain case files and organize and implement the annual Christmas Fulfill-A-Wish program.
Candidate must be able to lift and move multiple cases of food weighing 30 lbs. and drive a 32 ft. truck every other week.
BA in a social services field and 1 year of experience in a similar setting or AA with 2 years of experience desired. Will consider a combination of education and relevant experience. MUST be bilingual and able to work independently as well as a member of a team.
