Determine solubility and monitor stability of APIs in formulations using HPLC. Characterize solid-state properties of APIs using PLM, XRPD, and thermal analysis such as DSC and TGA. Determine the water content of solid, semi-solid, and liquid samples using Karl Fischer. Determine pKa using pectrophotometer. Develop semi-solid formulations with good stability and cosmetic elegance. Develop scale-up processes that allow robust large-scale manufacturing of semi-solid formulation. Study semi-solid formulation in-vitro permeation using Franz diffusion cells. Prepare formulations to support in-vivo studies. Maintain accurate documentation according to SOPs.
Other Special background in High Performance Liquid Chromatography HPLC methods to identify and purify small molecules of interest and their related substances. Familiar with Agilent HPLC systems thermodynamic and kinetic principles and their applications in thermal analysis and spectroscopy light microscopy and spectrophotometer Wet chemistry and quantitative chemical analysis techniques determination of pH, solubility, density, acid-base titration curve, chromatography,spectrophotometer.
