<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Exciting company is growing Drug Safety Operations due to increased drug approvals in new markets and is seeking to hire a Sr. Drug Safety Associate and a mid-level Drug Safety Associate. The Drug Safety Associate(s) will be responsible for adverse event (AE) and serious adverse event (SAE) reports for the full cycle including receipt, assessment, data entry, tracking,, narrative writing, and quality control. Drug Safety Associates will receive, track, and assess AE and SAE reports from all sources including post-marketing, clinical trial, and literature sources. Will independently evaluate the cases and adverse events by conducting searches within the database. Drug Safety Associate will be required to contact reporters to obtain follow-up information for reports. May be working with outside clinical research organizations (CROs) with their safety databases along with partner companies to ensure discrepancies are taken care of in a timely matter. Qualified candidate will have a BS Degree (scientific field preferred) and 3-8+ years experience in Drug Safety case processing with at least 2 years in the biopharmaceutical industry at a sponsor company (medical device experience will not apply towards this). This is a contract/hire opportunity with a great company. There will be a narrative writing test as part of the interview process.
