Other essential and non-essential duties may be assigned.1. Work with and under the direction of the Center Manager to assure center&rsquo;s compliance regarding agency, state and federal regulations, monitoring of protocol compliance and service delivery. Understanding of HMO&rsquo;s, Medi-Cal and FPACT requirements. Ensure current labor laws are followed.2. Ability and willingness to perform the essential duties of the Manager in emergencies and in the absence of the Manager. Report any problems, incidents involving patients and/or staff.3. Participate in the orientation and training of new employees/volunteers.4. Oversight and management of clinic assistant staff including annual evaluations and performance improvement plans.5. Monitor the opening and closing of the center including phone coverage.6. Understanding and handling of daily financial operations of center.7. Ability to maintain confidentiality of management and administrative issues.8. Direct, train and deploy staff in the:a.Scheduling of appointments for family planning including but not limited to contraceptives and abortion services,b.the provision of contraceptives,c.abortion referral and counseling,d.the provision of abortion services. 9. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Center Manager.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:1. Responsible for the completion and submission of QA audits.2. Schedule center&rsquo;s meetings and attend all required meetings.3. Assist staff and fill-in as necessary.4. Ensure optimal facility appearance (internal and external) including exam, triage, staff and waiting rooms.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
