EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:* A valid and currentCalifornialicense as a Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant.* Current furnishing license.* Current CPR certification is required.* Current ACLS certification may be required.* At least five (5) years of experience in women&rsquo;s health care is preferred.* National Certification is recommended.* DEA # may be required.* A minimum of five (5) years experience in women&rsquo;s health.* At last three (3) years experience providing specific specialty.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:* Develop training modules specific to specialty function.* Track and implement all audit processes related to specialty function.* Serve as a resource in their assigned specialty to other Client Services Clinicians.* Collaborate effectively with Client Services leadership team.* Track and implement all audit processes related to specialty/function* Collaborate with Medical Director and Director of Clinical Education.The following are specific responsibilities of Planned Parenthood Clinicians as outlined in the Medical Standards and Guidelines:General:* Secures a complete health history, including gynecologic, contraceptive, medical, surgical, sexual, family health, and psychosocial and records finding accurately and succinctly.* Performs physical exams with special emphasis on the reproductive system, including breast examination, pelvic examination, cancer screening tests, diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections, and other types of more specialized procedures as may be indicated by medical policy.* Performs, orders, and interprets diagnostic studies as indicated and permitted by affiliate medical protocols.* Recognizes and treats minor deviations from the normal, using prescribed protocols and consulting with the physician as needed.* Provides relevant health instruction to include family planning, nutrition, sexual counseling, and principles of health promotion and maintenance.* Collaborates with the health team and other community agencies and resources through joint planning and coordinating of ac
