Current BLS certification.* Experience in Acute Care/Ambulatory surgery Recovery Room, Emergency Room, labor and delivery orICU preferred.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:* Ensure adequate supply of 02, back up supply, and operation of 02 tank, cannulas and tubing.* Test suction machine, ensuring proper functioning, and presence of necessary equipment including: tubing, tracheal aspiration cannulas and nasal aspiration cannulas.* Test cardiac monitors and defibulators ensuring and recording proper functioning.* Ensure the following minimum equipment is present in recovery room: 2 IV stands, 2 blood pressure cuffs, 2 stethoscopes, Ambu bag, crash cart, laundry hamper, and an adequate supply of emesis basins, blankets, peri-pads, tidy towels, gloves and germicidal detergent.* Perform venipuncture/phlebotomy per clinician or physician order.* Initiate and monitor IV per clinician and/or physician.* Perform Rh testing.* Perform pregnancy testing.* Receive patient from OR, including via wheelchair or gurney and transfer to chair appropriately.* Upon patient admission to the recovery room, immediately check and record vital signs, skin color, skin  * Temperature and general condition of patient.* Assess Tubal Ligation (Essure) patient upon admission to and discharge from the recoveryroom or more often if necessary.* Assess surgical site of vasectomy patients upon admission to and discharge from the recovery room.* Assess vaginal bleeding of abortion patients per protocol.* Assess uterine tone of advanced gestation abortion patients per protocol.* Administer Microgram or Rhogam to abortion patients as ordered by the physician and/or clinician.* Administer medication as ordered by the physician and/or clin
