Position Overview:Responsible for ensuring that Training & Development projects align with Agency strategy and goals. The Trainer will have strong knowledge of and experience with designing curricula and using a blended learning approach targeted for adult learners. Position will be responsible for working with subject matter experts to assess training needs, design and deliver training; evaluate the success of training & development programs and demonstrate a return on training investment.Education and Experience (Minimum Requirements):* Master’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.* Current Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) is preferred* Three to five years’ program management, group facilitation, and teaching experience required.Strong knowledge of and experience with training planning processes; principles of adult learning theory; identifying training needs, linking performance with training; developing training goals and objectives; designing training curriculum; using instructional tools; evaluating training; and collaborating with subject matter experts.* Healthcare experience preferred. Experience working with medically licensed staff is preferred. Experience with eLearning design programs such as Articulate or Captivate is preferredEssentialFunctions/Job Responsibilities:* Manage onboarding and learning programs related to the Patient Services, patient care, leadership development, employee development, and compliance.* Collaborate with leadership to determine appropriate subject matter experts for learning needs as appropriate.* Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyse, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs and initiatives.* Identify opportunities for developing eLearning programs and work with Database Coordinator accordingly.* Develop and maintain positive relationships with SMEs and other collaborators.* Regularly evaluate and revise program curricula and evaluation plans.* Maintain pulse on health center and other Agency issues and needs as they relate to training and development. Regularly communicate with leadership regarding observations related to effectiveness of and compliance with training programs* Create and deliver educational sessions for internal and external clients utilizing Understanding By Design and other best practice models.* Develop and maintain referral/resource list for clients.* Actively develop and implement marketing plans to support programming.* Regularly prepare and present to Training & Development Manager reports illustrating qualitative and quantitative program data including return on training investment.* Participate in self-directed, ongoing knowledge
