Conduct aviation safety research and develop reports and other work products based on the work of the expert aviation analysts. Collect and ensure the accuracy of project reporting performance metrics. Perform several functions associated with safety report processing. Work directly with the Aviation Safety Reporting System Project Manager. This position is located in Sunnyvale, CA.Basic Qualifications:-3 years of experience with Commercial Airlines, General Aviation flight operations, Air Traffic Control, or Maintenance and Cabin Operations-Experience with the Aviation Safety Reporting System and relevant Federal Aviation Regulations and FAA policies-Knowledge of aviation safety or investigation processes-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint-Ability to obtain a security clearance-HS diploma or GEDAdditional Qualifications:-Experience in a supervisory role-Experience with Lean/Six Sigma certification or expertise-Experience with ASAP or a related safety program-Experience with Aviation accident or incident investigation-Knowledge of quality control or quality assurance processes-PMP Certification Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
