This position is responsible for scaling manufacturing operations through successful implementation of automated and semi-automated equipment, tooling, assembly aides, and fixtures to meet yield, capacity, safety, cost, and efficiency goals. Responsibilities include development and communication of equipment development standards, best practices, and guidelines across cross-functional organizations. This role will lead manufacturing support for daily production operations related to equipment availability and performance, and interface with development teams to ensure scalable production flow for New Product Introduction.The ideal candidate will have experience managing a multi-disciplinary project team including engineers and technicians, and communication cross-functionally. Technical experience with mechanical design (CAD), controls (PLCs, Motion Controllers, Sensors), and mechatronics is preferable.Roles and Responsibilities:* Lead the Equipment Development (Production) group to design, build, and validate assembly, test, programming, laser marking/welding, and similar manufacturing equipment to support manufacturing operations growth.* Manage Equipment Development engineers, machinists & technicians across broad range of disciplines including ME, EE, Software/Controls, machining/fabrication, and technicians.* Set and manage Equipment & Tooling standards for the design, fabrication, coding, performance, verification and validation.* Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) thru equipment qualification, IQ/OQ/PQ, and CAPA related activities.* Lead equipment related activities related to product facility transfers, outsourcing, and insourcing.* Provide oversight for the Production Machine Shop including administrative, personnel, equipment purchase & maintenance. * Improve product quality and reliability using Six Sigma, Cpk, Gauge R&R, and similar quality tools to design, development, and qualify manufacturing equipment.* Provide oversight and set standards with regard to use of outside tooling and equipment providers ensuring that ISI
