Familiarity with configuration management principles and indentured parts lists.Specific Job Description The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Reentry Design team is looking for a mechanical designer associate that can assist design engineers with concept development, 3D modeling, design and drafting of advanced-concept reentry flight test vehicles. Candidate may support design to integrate multiple "reentry body" configurations and ensure proper parts data structure is maintained for each vehicle. Candidate will work with other designers and systems engineering to develop flight experiments through the product life cycle to release. Candidate will assist design group by reviewing/updating design drawings, interface with the other engineering disciplines (mass properties, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, structures, etc), as well as manufacturing, flight electronics and stress groups.
