Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines. Specifically, provide design, technical, and enginering support to various elements of the THAAD interceptor including the missile round canister, propuslion components and structural assemblies. Perform in a team environment, and work under the general direction and guidance of senior engineers to deliver operational excellence to the program''s customer. Participate in issue resolution, develop solutions to technical problems of varying complexity while assuring sound technical content and timely closure.  Develop, review and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, manufacting processes, and technical analyses necessary to support interceptor development and manufacting activities.
