<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Description: Manages, organizes and controls all aspects of sensitive compartmented information (SCI) and/or special access programs (SAP) covering all areas from physical to personnel security operations. Determines program requirements and development of program standard practices and procedures. Writes and implements SCI/SAP procedures and documentation. Investigates and makes reports to appropriate entities. Maintains and controls program classified media/documentation. Manages and coordinates escort duties associated with SAP/SCI facilities. Interprets government contractual security requirements and provides direction and guidance to program personnel. Will serve as an Assistant and/or Primary Contractor Program Security Officer/Contractor Special Security Officer (CPSO/CSSO) for one or more programs. Works under general supervision. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.Examples of Work:1. Develops and implements security procedures in coordination with government agencies and management personnel.2. Conducts security briefings.3. Participates in the development of and conducts security education programs.4. Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions.5. Maintains liaison with outside agencies.6. Develops and implements procedures and coordinates procedure manual revisions.7. Frequent use and application of general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Possesses developed analytical and writing skills.8. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.9. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in the allocation of additional resources. Failure to satisfactorily perform this job may result in the loss of government contracts involving classified materials or the loss of the facility security clearance.10. Using good judgment, tact and diplomacy, decides on courses of action to accomplish this job. Administers and coordinates security programs. Assists in development and implementation of program security plans. Maintains liaison with outside agencies. Participates in the development of security education programs.Required Skills:* 4+ years of experience in a DoD security program and in-depth knowledge of various government agency security regulatory manuals* Government policies and procedures for handling and safeguarding national security information experience* Industrial security experience* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret personal security clearance with SCI / SAP access as required* 2+ years experience in a DoD or an intelligence community industrial security program* DoD and/or DCIDs / ICDs security regulatory manuals and regulations experience* Specialized Government training in security policy* Must be able to work effectively with all employees to enforce and administer security requirements and provide effective and prompt services to all customers. * Willingness to travel to AST locations and be able to leave on short notice to respond to emergency situations at other operating sitesDesired Skills: * Bachelors Degree* Previous ACPSO/ACSSO/AFSO experience* Outstanding verbal and written communication skillsRequired Education (including Major):* Associates Degree required (or commensurate-level associated experience in industrial security related fieldGo further.
