Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer  Process
Engineer whose primary responsibilities include
support of existing manufacturing processes as
well as new product development and transition to
production. The ideal candidate will be able to
streamline processes for cost effectiveness and
repeatability design and implement fixtures.  May
serve as project leader on assigned projects and
be responsible for conducting organized studies
and experiments to identify the root cause of
assembly or quality problems.
Responsibilities
   Ability to read, analyze and interpret general
business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
   Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals
   Ability to effectively present information and
respond to questions from groups of managers,
clients, customers, and the general public.
   Streamline processes for cost effectiveness and
repeatability.
   Design and implement fixtures.
   May serve as project leader on assigned
projects.
   May be responsible for conducting organized
studies and experiments to identify the root cause
of assembly or quality problems.
Qualifications
   5-7 years of battery technology experience. Li-
ion experience preferred.
   Experience in evaluating material, designing
and conducting tests preferred.
   Ability to work with mathematical concepts such
as probability and statistical inference, and
fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and
trigonometry
   Ability to apply concepts such as fractions,
percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical
situations.
   Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in a
manufacturing environment.
   Strong use of 3D software, preferably
SolidWorks, structural/thermal analysis using
COSMOS, material selection and compatibility.
   Analytical, design, problem solving skills.
   Project management skills.
   Ability to communicate effectively both orally
and written.
   Teamwork, visionary leadership, change
management, leadership, cost consciousness,
ethics, judgment, professionalism, adaptability.
   Ability to solve practical problems and deal
with a variety of concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists.
   Able to interpret a variety of instructions
furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule
form.
Education
   Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree  required
