<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Maintains production facilities and production equipment to ensure optimal performance and to comply with state  federal regulations and guidelines. Ensures operating condition of equipment and machinery used in daily operations including repair, calibration and maintenance of production equipment for filling, labeling, bottling, culturing, blending, encapsulation, banding, tableting, and freeze drying  in addition to laboratory equipment/machines.  Performs and maintains company preventive maintenance programs. Prepares reports, measures and contingency plans for sustainable equipment operations and contingencies. Must assist  production management and production personnel  in production setup, optimization, support and finishing operations.
Must adhere to company safety rules and requirements.
Follows written preventative maintenance, repair and operational procedures for change overs, preventative maintenance and daily support of production and/or processing equipment.
Troubleshoots and repairs machinery, equipment and facilities as directed.
Ensures that facilities and production equipment spare parts inventory is assessed and maintained.
Participates in all aspects of equipment and facility performance projects

* Thoroughly and accurately completes required documents, logs, physical records and electronic records.
* Assists in department organization including ordering of equipment, services and contractors
* Ensures equipment meets GMP requirements for cleanliness and aseptic practices where required.
* Serves as active member on Safety Committee
* Completes material orders for safety equipment
* Insure that Safety Standard Operating Procedures are integrated with all maintenance SOPs.
* Other duties as assigned.
Candidate must have 3-5 years related industry experience.
Education required High School / Trade School Diploma, and related college degree AS/BS a plus.
Technical certification desired.
