This role is responsible for development and qualification of Electromechanical Actuators and Cabin Pressure Valves.Voltis aggressively recruiting in the greater Torrance region within area codes 310/424.Duties and Responsibilities:* Leads team members in establishing program plans with respect to cost and schedule.* Coordinates the design and development of actuators and components which meet customer and internal requirements.* Identifies and resolves design problems of performance, strength, weight, material selection and finishes.* Identifies and incorporates Best Practices for Product Design.* Coordinates detail drawing modifications and the procurement of engineering hardware.* Implements development and qualification test objectives, writes test procedures, oversees the preparation of test units and the conduct of tests.* Coordinates activities to reduce test data, writes test reports and prepares recommendations related to the test objectives.* Supports Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities associated with development or qualification problems.* Responsible (along with other team members) for the management, accuracy and timely reporting of program budget, schedule and technical problems.* Understands and applies risk management practices to Development and Production/Field Support Programs.This is an estimated 6 month Contingent/Temporary position in Torrance, CA and offered throughVolt Technical Resources, which is located in Scottsdale, AZ.
