<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>KC-10 Contractor Operated and Managed Base Supply (COMBS) Manager  (Job Number:315791)Description:SAIC has job opportunities for COMBS Managers. These positions will be located at McGuire AFB, NJ and Travis AFB, CA locations.JOB SUMMARY: The COMBS Manager provides expertise on all aspects of SAIC internal supply and operational support requirements in order to ensure successful contract performance. The COMBS Manager is responsible for providing and furnishing spare parts required for support of the KC-10 aircraft and associated support equipment including Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in the form of components and kits. The COMBS Manager supervises assigned personnel engaged in initiation, control, and screening of material redistribution reports, computer source documents, and other data incidental to the location, status, movement, replacement and repair of material required to support aircraft, ground support equipment, and facilities. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of the maintenance and inspection of all ground support equipment provided to accomplish aircraft inspection and maintenance.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The COMBS Manager will perform the following functions as a minimum:-   Manage SAIC logistics resources to ensure flying schedules are maintained within cost and contract performance standards are met or exceeded-   Implement SAIC and Air Force policies, procedures and practices while ensuring program compliance-   Manage COMBS supply and support equipment operations, including material and personnel, to comply with program budget and contract requirements-   Directly supervise employees including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding/disciplining employees, addressing complaints/resolving problems.-   Monitors the accurate and complete accounting, reporting and internal control systems and ensures they are functioning and that all relevant records are maintained-   Prepare reports on training, property control, material movements and other logistics processesTHIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD.Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS: COMBS Managers must possess the following qualifications/experience:-   A minimum of ten (10) years supply chain management experience-   Bachelor''s degree in an associated logistics discipline with 10 year''s experience: Associate degree and 15 Year''s experience or a High Degree and 20 year''s experience.-   Five (5) years of direct operations or logistics management related experience-   A comprehensive understanding of COMBS operations and practices with a working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines-   Familiarity with GO81 and SBSS desired-   Program/project management training desired-   An active DoD Secret security clearanceSAIC Overview:SAIC is a FORTUNE 500
