It is not necessary to follow-up your application by contacting Human Resources.Shareholders interested in this position may apply as indicated below or directly with Shareholder Development.Note: We participate in E-Verify: Federal law requires all employers to verify theidentity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States.Twenty Nine Palms, CaliforniaJob Duties and Responsibilities:• Assemble and maintain Medical Evaluation Board case records following MTF guidelines for case record assemblage that are illustrated in SECNAVINST 1850.4E.Examples of MEB case record “maintenance” include correct chronological filing of test results and other reports and forms in case records for professional staff review and reference; printing and filing of required online health records from Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA). Responsible for retrieving and returning of service member health records to the Medical Records section of the MTF, as needed to provide quality, timely patient care.• Review case records for administrative accuracy and verify completion of administrative record requirements by the provider (i.e. signatures, date of service); send Government approved case records to the PEB.• Route provider dictations and Boards through hospital staff per MTF routing instructions.Associated services include coordination of administrative actions and edits among various internal MTF departments.This service is performed within administrative processing standards defined in SECNAVINST 5216.5D, DoN Correspondence Manual.• Provide printed and routine, non-technical information about medical boards and medical board processing to scheduled and walk in patients and others who inquire.Advise patients regarding policies related to hours of operation and services offered by the Division. Respond to routine, non-technical requests for information.• Maintain orderly patient appointment schedules and assist patients by helping them make timely follow-up appointments and by notifying them of appointments.Provide patient with the appropriate paperwork for follow-up appointments and post-LIMDU officer counseling’s and suitability screenings.• Use hospital computer systems to manage division activity, including data input and tracking in Medical Board Online Tracking System (MEDBOLTS), Temporary Limited Duty (TLD), Composite Healthcare System (CHCS), Veterans Tracking Application (VTA), and Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Applications (AHLTA) and Army Knowledge Online (AKO) and Navy Knowledge Online. Accuracy of the data entry is paramount to the accuracy of the MTF''s reports to higher authority and to internal process monitoring.• Provide administrative services related to the processing of medical boards and efficient operation of the Division. Such activities include word processing, photocopying, facsimile transmissions, telephone management and communication with patients and providers, appointment scheduling for the Division, verification of patient’s identifying and demographic information, distribution of administrative materials, internal mail.• Responsible for monitoring and requisitioning the Divisions consumable supplies. Responsible for maintaining the Divisions telephone listings of MTF departments, PEB counterparts and community medical facilities.• Collaborate with all disciplines to support the Command Process Improvement Program for quality customer service.Job Requirements:• High School graduate• One year experience in providing medical administrative support services• Able to type, use of
