General Dynamics Information Technology is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.General Dynamics has a need for an experienced leader & manager to serve as a Site Manager at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA.. The team of contractors at this site provides critical support for individual unit and staff training events, functional and technical modeling and simulation and C2 support services. The Site Manager serves as the senior General Dynamics representative at the site and provides guidance, direction, and supervision of all assigned personnel in providing planning, preparation and execution of live, virtual, and constructive standards-based training events. Duties include:1. Serve as the senior contract representative at the site.2. Provides guidance, direction, and supervision of contract personnel.3. Serves as the official contractor representative to the government COR at the site.4. Coordinates all site contractor activities or tasks with the COR.5. Performs evaluations of current activities to determine multi-year projections for personnel, hardware, and software.6. Ensures tasks are completed within estimated time frames and budget constraints.7. Participates in executing assigned tasks/events to observe and monitor performance of contractor personnel.8. May perform function of task/event billet within the scope of his military operational experience and acquired skill sets.9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology and doctrine as required.10. Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.11. Empowered to negotiate and establish binding decisions, within scope of the current contract agreement, on behalf of the contractor.12. Prepares monthly status reports and other reports as required.13. Recommends travel plans to the Site COR to support events away from simulation site.14. Plans, prepares, and executes assigned events.15. Attends conferences and meetings as determined by the Site COR.1. Civilian Education. Bachelor''s degree required. Masters degree in business management, military science, contracting, or equivalent area desirable.2. Military Education. Attendance at Intermediate Level School such as Marine Corps CSC or completion of equivalent nonresident course required.1. Military Operational Experience. Minimum eight years operational experience in: maneuver, aviation, fires, Logistics, or intelligence operations. Minimum eight years demonstrated knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at MAGTF or joint/combined command level as measured by actual operational force employment experience.2. Direct participation in real world operations is desired.3. Minimum three years'' experience in military training and education.1. Must be eligible for at least a secret clearance.2. May be required to deploy to other Marine Corps sites for short durations.3. Must have experience in DOD modeling and simulation to include MAGTF Tactical Warfare Simulation (MTWS) and other simulation models such as JCATS, JSAF, OneSAF, CBS, or JTLS.4.
