<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Malkeo Staffing of Hayward is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a food manufacturing plant based in Union City, CA. We are seeking a candidate to perform all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance on various high speed filling and packaging machinery.
This position could be a first or second shift position . The work week for this position is Monday through Friday and possibly Saturday based on product season. Overtime may be required, possibly on short notice.
Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years experience.
An associate degree or equivalent technical training is preferred.
Required to work as a team member and solve problems while providing innovative solutions .
Have strong mechanical aptitude and
Ability to rebuild and overhaul various types of machinery w/little supervision
Good electrical trouble shooting skills
PLC experience and knowledge of ladder logic would be a definite plus.
