The candidate will explore proteomics and affinity mass spectrometry-basedmethods to develop novel strategies to assess the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics andbiotransformations of biotherapeutic proteins for preclinical and clinicalstudies. The work will include the characterization of structural changes inbiotherapeutic proteins in plasma and quantitative analysis including biotherapeutic proteins, pharmacodynamic markers and biomarkers. The candidate will work in an interactive, fast-paced,multi-disciplinary group setting in drug development and have the opportunityto contribute to developing novel therapies.Who You AreA recent Ph.D. in AnalyticalChemistry (or related discipline) with specialization in biological massspectrometry. Hands-on experience in mass spectrometry, proteomics andchromatographic methods. A proven track record of solving complex bioanalyticalproblems must be demonstrated. Expertise in the analysis of proteins using electrosprayor nanoelectrospray ionization and LC/MS/MS instruments is preferred. A motivated and flexible team player with excellentinterpersonal skills. Good oral andwritten communication skills. Knowledge of other mass spectrometry techniques,bioanalytical methods and automation are a plus.
