Please take this opportunity to learn about Genentech, where we believe that our employees are our most important asset and are dedicated to remaining a great place to work.The PositionThe College Programs team is responsible for creating andmanaging innovative programs to attract top student talent to Genentech.Work Hours: 20-40 hours per weekLocation: South San Francisco CampusKey Responsibilities:Genentech co-ops contribute to meaningful projects,interacting and working side by side with biotech industry experts.* Manage a project related to university recruitment andpresent project recommendations. Previous projects have included developing asocial media strategy or a school campus ambassador program* Assist Program managers with daily logisticalcommunications to candidates, career centers, hiring managers, and programstakeholders* Assist with recruiting efforts by scheduling company presentations,campus interviews, update master planning calendar, track and update alumniinformation, book campus dinner/reception at offsite restaurants and submit jobdescriptions for fulltime and internship opportunities at target schools byworking with the career centers* Field and respond to candidate inquiries via phone andemail during peak recruiting travel season* Support on campus recruiting event logistics (orderingcatering, A/V, etc.)* Prepare information for campus recruiting teams* Prepare and ship collateral and promotion material forrecruiting events and conferences* Organize and manage inventory of collateral andpromotional materials* Post full-time and internship openings at career centers* Update College Programs content on external and internalcompany website* Assist with social media outreach* Special Projects as assignedWho You AreMust be Currently enrolled in a BS or MS or MBA programEducation: Pursuing an BA/ BS, MBA, or MA/MS in Business,Communication, Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field* Prior work experience desired (internship experience ok)in staffing, human resources, or event management, hospitality or customerservice is also a plus
