Please take this opportunity to learn about Genentech, where we believe that our employees are our most important asset and are dedicated to remaining a great place to work.The PositionThe Group Manager, Industry Analytics Strategy Team, leads a team of three to four direct reports accountable for assessing the impact and providing strategic insights across the GNE portfolio for Biosimilars, Small Molecule Generic competition, and Personalized Healthcare. These portfolio assessments and insights support informed decision-making by Genentech senior leaders. The Group Manager must be skilled at navigating and collaborating with a complex internal set of teams and functional groups with an appreciation for the nuanced role that IA plays in this effort.  The Group Manager guides and oversees collaborations with Market Planning, Brand Teams, Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal and Global partners in order to inform and model assumptions, communicate impact, influence risk mitigation strategies, and support company initiatives and messaging on relevant strategies. The Group Manager must have a high degree of comfort managing ambiguity and uncertainty while effectively supporting his team to communicate an objective and informed point of view. The Group Manager will successfully coach the team to employ structured problem solving, primary market research, and quantitative modeling techniques as required to inform key business questions. The Group Manager, or a Senior Manager on the team, may serve as the point of contact (and possibly lead) for the US Biosimilar Task Force.1.
