The position leads a team of Informatics professionals consisting of project managers, business systems analysts, and application support professionals. The team is responsible for support of commercially available and custom developed applications using the Roche Project Management Methodology (PMM), which is suitable for regulated (GxP) environments. The position is part of the gRED IT organization.Responsibilities: -Acts as the people manager for the gRED Early Development Informaticsteam (performance planning, development planning, performance reviews,salary, bonus, and stock administration, career planning, etc.-Acts as Informatics Solution Owner for all gRED Clinical Operations specific applications-Establishes yearly and budgets for Clinical Operations and Business Operations projects and maintains finances on a monthly basis for area of responsibility.-Ensures that formal project management processes (PMM) are adhered to for planning, chartering, and management of strategic initiatives and projects. -Establishes and manages project teams and core teams to develop and execute project plans. -Monitors projects and their progress towards goals, provides status, and ensures issue resolution. Manages project budget and timeline to ensure that they are efficiently delivered.-Identify and implement process improvements in solution delivery and support of new and existing solutions-Collaborates with Pharma Informatics technology groups and business functional groups, to ensure project delivery and on-going support of applications.-Participate in the Leadership Team of gRED IT organizationWho You Are* BS/BA in Information Technology or related discipline* BioTech/Pharmaceutical industry experience required.* Must have 5-10 years of IT-related experience * Clinical Operations and web development experience preferred* Must have demonstrated strong customer relationship management skills* Strong verbal, written and presentation skills* Thorough understanding and application of the project management life-cycle,* strategic analysis and planning, process improvement concepts, and team* facilitation skills.* Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple* projects.* Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships both internally and* externally.* Experience working in a Support organization is a plus* Experience with Data Warehousing is a plus
