This role works closely with key stakeholdersin Technical Operations, Global Engineering, Capital Planning, SSF Site Engineeringand various internal finance groups. TheAccounting Manager also leads the team of fixed asset accountants in thecomprehensive recording, reporting and tracking of PP&E. The role requires an individual who is highlycollaborative, customer focused and well versed in technical accounting issues,process, financial controls and policies. The successful candidate will also bring a demonstrated track record ofstrong leadership and business partnering.Roles and Responsibilities* Lead, develop andmentor capital finance staff of four* Provide guidanceand leadership to capital finance team, i.e. set department goals and definestrategic direction, annual and periodic performance and development planreviews, provide oversight of work delegated* Represent capitalfinance on various leadership and project teams such as Sub CGC* Manage month endclose process, review and approve monthly capital account reconciliations, journalentries and asset creation packages* Ownership ofinternal control documentation and execution* Review and approvekey monthly reports and variance analyses* Function as capitalfinance point of contact for internal and external auditors* Review creditapplications for completeness and correctness* Manage physicalinventory schedule and performance* Establish andnurture customer relationships via periodic 1:1 meetings, training sessions,etc.* Function as policyexpert for capital accountingWho You Are* BS/BA in Accounting or Finance with at least five years of relevant work experience; CPA preferred* Prior management experience is preferred* Strong time management, attention to detail and self motivated* Demonstrated strengths in written, oral and visual communication skills* Highly committed to internal customer service* SAP experience is a plus
