The purpose of the Operational Excellence Lead role is to lead and manage OE (Operational Excellence) and CI (Continuous Improvement) activities across Access Solutions' cross-functional departments and teams. As such, the OE Lead will play a critical role in helping Access Solutions optimize performance, productivity and efficiencies across their programs, services and other operations. The OE Lead will manage quality and process improvement identification, design, development and implementation and further ensures timely and effective hand-off of OE and CI projects and other work by educating and training operational management and their teams.* Help enable optimal performance, productivity and efficiencies across Access Solutions through standardized and other quality processes, procedures, practices, roles and responsibilities, and other tools and resources* Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Operational Excellence proactively identify opportunities for continuous quality improvements and other efficiencies or standardization* Stay abreast of best practices and other innovations that pertain to OE and CI as well as healthcare reimbursement and other patient assistance programs, services and capabilities* Expertly apply best practice OE and CI methodologies and other techniques, such as Six Sigma, LEAN and others* Drive consistent adoption of best practices, operational excellence and other efficiencies and CI across all Access Solutions functions and teams* Ensure all OE/CI projects and other work are consistently completed on-time, on or above target, and within the prescribed budget* Develop an understanding of the complex data environment within Access Solutions in order to enhance standard reports, perform analysis and develop ad hoc queries & reports to support the Access Solutions Operational Excellence program.* Provide subject matter expertise on Access Solutions systems including system operations, maintenance, support, upgrades and system integrity.* Act, and is accountable for others in his/her team acting, in complete & total compliance with all laws, regulations and policies* Utilize only approved resources and messages to meet goals and targets* Participate, as and when needed or otherwise appropriate, in cross-functional or other project teams; helping the overall business of Genentech to continuously evolve, improve and excelWho You Are* Bachelors Degree* MBA or other related graduate-level degree is a plus* Lean/ Six Sigma/ APICS/ PMP certifications is a* An average of 6 or more years&
