A successful candidate will articulatetechnical security requirements, monitor the effectiveness of the existing ITsecurity controls framework, and raise the level of security awareness andpolicy compliance among workforce members. Aspart of a global service, the IT Security Specialist will design strategies toimprove threat monitoring capabilities and security policy compliance. Keep abreast of best practices to deliver themost effective threat protection and incident management services. Improve the corporate IT security posture byaligning key metrics and reports with business goals.Additional Responsibilities:* Forensic analysis and event correlation* Participate in the collection of security process/control details and artifacts in support of internal and external IT audits and assessment activities* Assist with the definition, creation, and documentation of information security-related policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines* Assist with the development and promotion of policies, procedures, and training materials to encourage a culture of security awareness among employees* Assist with the selection and implementation of new security initiatives and tools in accordance with the information security roadmap* On call rotation for weekends and evenings requiredWho You Are* Ability to lead technical teams and deliver solutions* SIEM administration (Arcsight) connectors, content, and reports* Advanced knowledge of desktop, server, application, database, and network security principles for risk identification and analysis* Experience in incident response, security infrastructure management, or monitoring services* Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam* Intrusion detection systems (Sourcefire, snort)* Vulnerability Management* Forensics
