This SRA researcher will employ advanced biochemical, cell biological, and molecular genetic technologies to conduct innovative studies to identify epigenetic drug targets, to investigate relevant epigenetic regulatory mechanism and to support the drug discovery and development programs. The successful candidate will be expected to be self-driven, take initiatives and work independently and creatively in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.Who You Are* Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field will be considered.* A strong conceptual understanding of cancer biology is required.* Superb analytic skills and excellent quantitative data analysis capabilities are essential.* A strong publication record from graduate and/or postdoctoral work is a plus.* Extensive biochemical, cell biological and/or genomic experience is a prerequisite.* Expertise in the in vitro biochemical reconstitution or in systematic si/shRNA screening is a high priority.* Experience with epigenetic research is strongly preferred.* Expertise in the analysis of high-throughput and high-content screens, in the analysis of large datasets, and in bioinformatics would all be advantageous.* Excellent organization, time management and communication skills are also expected.
