The successful candidate will be responsiblefor supporting research projects in the disease therapeutic areas of Immunologyand/or Neuroinflammation as part of the biologics drug discovery program at ourSouth San Francisco campus. The individual will be expected to workindependently in developing and performing immunochemical, biochemical, andcell-based assays to support candidate selection, potency, efficacy, andpharmacokinetic studies as well as immunogenicity evaluation andpharmacodynamic biomarker measurements. In addition, the individual will incorporateautomation into his/her daily work and apply novel technologies in assaydevelopmentWho You AreA BS or MS in Immunology, Neuroscience, Cell Biology,Biochemistry, or a related field with at least 5 years of biopharmaceutical industryexperience. Proven expertise in cell-basedassays, biochemical ligand binding assays, and quantitative ELISAs isessential. Experience in developingassays for quantification of antibody therapeutics and protein biomarkers invarious biological matrices is also required. The candidate should have basic immunology and protein/antibody biochemistryknowledge. Experience with FACS,molecular biology, or automation is a plus. The candidate should be self-motivated. He/she should possess excellentanalytical and critical thinking skills, strong oral/written communicationskills, quick learning capabilities, the ability to multitask, and experiencewith interdepartmental or external collaborations.*LI-KD1
