The incumbent will lead a small laboratory groupfocusing on predictive and/or pharmacodynamic biomarker development efforts, aswell as lead and support Biomarker Subteams for programs in late stage clinicaldevelopment. A particular focus for this position will be to establish anddevelop a strong collaborative relationship with clinical scientists in latestage development.All of the Scientists in OBD are encouraged to develop afocus in one of several areas that advance our understanding of specific diseasesor enable advanced biomarker assessments through exploration of innovative,cutting-edge technologies. The successful candidate is expected to effectivelylead cross functional teams, to publish innovative biomarker or disease focusedresearch in high quality scientific, technical or medical journals, present toour key investigators and at meetings and promote collaborative efforts to pushbiomarker sciences forward.
