Please take this opportunity to learn about Genentech, where we believe that our employees are our most important asset and are dedicated to remaining a great place to work.The PositionThe US Business Lead Systems position in PTR will be responsible for leading cross-functional business teams that support the identification, development and delivery of technology projects within Global Pharma Technical Regulatory (PTR).The PTR US Business Lead systems is accountable for the success of systems initiatives throughout the development lifecycle, including: contributing to the strategy and roadmap for information systems in PTR, consolidating global user requirements, tracking project timelines, overseeing rollout and training, leading business process changes, and ultimately tracking and communicating on the business benefits achieved with the projects.The PTR US Business Lead Systems will be accountable for the success of IT projects in the Global Technical Regulatory portfolio through the direct management of cross-functional teams. In addition, the business lead will act as the main representative for the US sites in global projects which are led from EU or other locations. Close partnering with PD/PT Global Informatics and Global PD Regulatory operations (PDRO) is a must to deliver solutions that fulfill user expectations and are delivered according to priorities in Global Technical Regulatory.This position reports to the PTR Global Business Lead Systems.- Lead the successful introduction of new systems and related business processes for PTR-  Manage a portfolio of projects for US, in addition to individual projects assigned to the position-  Provide guidance and support for other PTR individuals leading technical projects-  Identify, acquire, and lead cross-site-, cross-functional business teams for requirements gathering, user testing and support of solution implementation including associated training needs-  Define, plan, and direct the execution of a broad range of technical projects, while balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk-  Plan, baseline and control resources to ensure projects are completed within approved budget-  Establish effective partnerships with project team members and provide project management leadership to their core and sub-teamsWho You Are10+ years of experience as a successful Project Leader in the field of IT systems and business processes, ideally within Technical functions of the pharmaceutical Industry.-   Plus: Regulatory knowledge with regards to submission generation and related technology-  Demonstrated success handling initiatives of high complexity and risk-  Proven ability to obtain results in a global, cross-site matrix environment -  Demonstrated ability to execute on a technology strategy and ensure that results are in alignment to the business
