With over six decades of experience in optical coating technology, OSP aspires to be a customer focused, market driven enterprise serving attractive and sustainable market sectors including currency security, defense, biomedical instruments, and consumer electronics, with products and technologies valued by customers.The Vice President of Operations leads the global Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics activities within JDSU's Optical Security and Performance Products business (OSP) to enable industry-leading production and order fulfillment. The individual will be responsible for the OSP operations in Santa Rosa, Beijing and Suzhou, with ~550 employees and annual revenues of ~ $250 million. The business has various manufacturing methodologies employed to serve multiple markets from high volume to custom products. The individual is responsible for all operations functions from engineering design, to order entry, through shipment to customers. This executive will oversee manufacturing and supply chain as well as managing relationships with Contract Manufacturers. The incumbent will be responsible for assessing the current operating strategies and developing new strategies to improve cost, customer service, and quality.
