The Territory Manager position manages sales processes for the for the Glaucoma product line in accordance with approved marketing plans. This is accomplished by utilizing and contributing in high performance selling teams to maximize coverage of physicians and targeted accounts within the assigned territory. Assigned sales goals are achieved through consultative and value based selling techniques and by implementing the U.S. Marketing Plan. Provides technical product knowledge and support to ensure customer satisfaction. Effectively utilizes Allergan sales resources (Corporate Account Managers, Regional Account Managers, Specialty Account Managers and Field Training Managers) to enhance productivity and provide optimal customer satisfaction. Complies with required reports and requests and effectively manages Allergan field assets, including samples.* Bachelor''s degree in related field* 3 plus years general sales experience with a proven track record of successful sales performance* 5 plus years pharmaceutical or healthcare industry sales preferred* Strong organizational, analytical and business planning skills* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* A high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with many diverse customers* Ability to travel adequately to cover territory, with approximately 10% overnight travel, including overnight attendance at training meetings.* Ability to drive a car and possess a valid and current driver''s licenseEEO/AA M/F/V/D
