JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The Lean Practitioner will be responsible for the collection of data used to document the current state condition of processes. The documents produced by the Lean Practitioner will include but not be limited to formal time-studies, Process Flow Charts, Value Stream Maps current and future state, Spaghetti Diagrams, Standard Combination Worksheets and Percent Load Bar Charts.
Essential Functions
The following is a list of duties, tasks work activities and/or functions the Lean Practitioner will be required to perform
Will perform process observation time-study
Will create process flow charts
Will create Spaghetti Diagrams
Will create Standard Combination Worksheets
Will create Percent Load Bar Charts
Will create Current State Value Stream Maps V.S.M.s
Will assist with the documentation of Future State V.S.M.s
Will perform other reasonable and related duties as assigned by Supervision
Specifications
The following is a list of skills, abilities, training, education, experience, values, interests and /or talent the Lean Practitioner will be expected to posses and demonstrate
An A.A. Degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred but equivalent aerospace manufacturing experience may well be accepted
A Lean Certification issued by a recognized organization or evidence of training coupled with the ability to verbally demonstrate competence with the necessary tools see those mentioned in the Essential Functions section above
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide using a calculator with accuracy
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must be competent in the use and exploitation of good working knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point applications
Must be familiar with machine shop practices sufficient to differentiate between milling, drilling, assembling and de-burring and must be somewhat familiar with the tools used to accomplish these tasks or become familiar able to identify and differentiate with these tools before the completion of the 90-day probationary period
Must be willing to work overtime occasionally includes starting as early as 430 a.m. and/or staying as late as 730 p.m.
Must possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and must be comfortable occasionally infrequently presenting process diagnostic results to Senior Management
