The Service Maintenance Technician will support, repair, service and maintain customer equipment to ensure maximum availablity and realiability. Works as part of the service and maintenance team.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Travel to customers sites to perform service and maintenance work. Troubleshoot, repair, and service various equipment. Perform calibration service. Track worked hours per service/maintenance call accurately to assure proper billing to customer. Maintain clean work environment and perform clean up duties. Assure customer satisfaction.
Experience and Education Requirements
Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred or equivalent apprenticeship. One year experience in troubleshooting and maintaining equipment with an emphasis on electrical/electronic systems. Proficiency with basic mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatic concepts related to machine tools. PLC troubleshooting and repair skills, a plus.
