Responsible for facility and building equipment repair. Responsible for recordkeeping for all fleet and facility maintenance.May oversee clerks carrying out departmental record-keeping, including Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS), and parts inventory records. As the Manager, you will supervise mechanics that make major and minor repairs, inspections, adjustments and replacements. In this role, you will serve as the "go to" person providing guidance and training to the mechanics. May oversee the outsourcing of repair and replacement to outside vendors.The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for scheduling work shifts. and mentoring employees as well as for yearly reviews for the employees in the department. Prepares daily, monthly, and annual reports as required by client and company procedures.- College degree preferred- Possess a valid CDL- Must have 5 years experience as a mechanic - Have 3 years experience in a leadership role within a automotive maintenance environment- Must be self-motivated and able to perform duties with little or no supervision.- ASCE certified and DOT annual Inspector Certifications preferred. Master Mechanic certification preferred.- Must have diagnostic computer equipment experience- The ability to obtain a CDL class B with P endorsement - Must have basic radio skills and understanding of the design, adjustment, overhaul, operation, and maintenance of transmissions and - heavy-duty engines- Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office Suite on at least a novice level- Must have good organizational skills.- Budgeting skills and ability to manage within budget.- good math skills- You must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.-Good oral and written communication skills.
