<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>A growing company with a location in Van Nuys, CA is actively seeking an A&P licensed mechanic for a supervisory / manager position.The A&P mechanic manager will be performing hands-on aircraft maintenance as well as performing supervisory duties. The A&P mechanic manager will supervise location employees and will have an involvement in planning, inspection, logistics and financial operations. The A&P mechanic manager will communicate with clients to discuss aircraft maintenance activities, obtain authorizations to complete work and purchase parts, etc. The aircraft mechanic manager will plan and assign work and will perform maintenance, overhaul and repair work on fixed wing aircraft.The most qualified aircraft A&P mechanic manager must have prior experience performing maintenance or overhaul and repair duties on corporate business jets. The qualified A&P mechanic manger will have prior supervisory or lead experience, preferably overseeing work being performed on corporate business jets. The qualified A&P mechanic manager must have an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license for consideration, an IA is preferred for consideration. The most qualified candidate will have six (6) to ten (10) years of prior aircraft maintenance experience. The qualified A&P mechanic manager must be experienced with MS Word and MS Excel.This is a full time position offered on a contract to hire basis. This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday, however, the A&P mechanic manager may be needed to accept work related telephone calls in the evenings or on weekends as needed.Join Aerotek Aviation&#174LLC.
