This position must be skilled at medical history interviewing, basic physical examination, diagnostic test interpretation (i.e. Vision test results, Hearing test results and EKG tracing interpretation). This position must be proficient at detailed documentation. This position must have experience with medical policies, regulations, procedures, medical equipment and instruments. This position must be able to work well with other staff members and support the Site Manager’s efforts to build an effective and efficient team. This position will be trained on medical guidelines to be followed, documentation requirements and how to use the equipment provided by CHS. This position will report and consult directly with the Site Manager regarding any equipment, patient, staff or client issues.QUALIFICATIONS:* Degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited institution.* Current license to practice medicine* Must possess current HIPAA certification or the ability to obtain certification* Strong attention to detail* Ability to work effectively with others* Profiecient in the operations of medical equipment for physical exams* Direct patient care expertise, knowledge and practical skills – good patient assessment skills* Comply with the ethical, legal and professional guidelines; applicable regulations and corporate policies and procedures.* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Attend any assigned orientation* Assess and document any test results, exam results and clarifications of medical history* Interpretation of EKG and lab values* Complete all medical paperwork with proper documentation and recommendations* Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned – may include assisting with site set up and site breakdown.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Work will involve prolonged periods of standing, sitting, possible computer operation, good eye/hand coordination and lifting up to 60 pounds.Job LocationVandenberg AFB, CA, US.Position TypePart-TimeEmployment TypePer diem
