<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Program Security Officer  (Job Number:317586)Description:The Mission Support Business Unit is currently seeking a Mid-Level Program Security OfficerThis job requires a multi-disciplined approach to a dynamic security environment. The selected candidate must be knowledgeable in SAP and SCI security and the ability to apply principles contained within the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), NISPOM Supplement/Overprint, Joint Air Force-Army-Navy (JAFAN) Manuals, the Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) the Director of Central Intelligence Standards (DCIDs). Routine interface with internal and multiple external customers, as required, in implementing security requirements. Core functions will include: Manage SCI Security Programs (Industrial, Information, Industrial, Personnel, IT, OPSEC, Physical).PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The Program Security Officer (PSO) is responsible for overseeing the daily administration of all security aspects of their assigned programs. They assist program management in understanding and implementing security initiatives and develop risk management methodologies to minimize cost while maximizing protection to the program''s most sensitive assets. PSO tasks may include but are not limited to: providing day-to-day security advice and guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical, information, industrial, counterintelligence, and computer security issues; providing security classification guidance and perform document and classification reviews; participating in technical design reviews, working groups, and other groups as needed to support the security missions. They will also support threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments and assist with the development of mitigation plans that reduce or remediate adverse finding. Conduct self inspections and reviewing security processes for compliance; access control; execution of a security education program, Document Control and COMSEC. Reviews and prepare Fixed Facility Checklist; drawings and supporting documentation for accreditation. Responsible for personnel security duties to include (but not be limited to): Processing new employees for security clearances, conduct security indoctrination briefings, and processing for Company and Government badges.Job Location: Vandenberg AFB, Santa Barbara, County, CA.Travel: ~ 25%Qualifications:REQUIREMENTS:- An active TS/SCI clearance is required to begin work.- At least 6 years of relevant PSO experience is required.- Requires a proven working knowledge of classification management, information systems security, personnel security, and physical security for the purpose of providing guidance to customers and industry partners- Ability to effectively brief audiences on security matters- Proven ability to conduct investigations of security incidents, thoroughly gathering all pertinent data, and working the incident through to resolution- Strong verbal and written communications skills- Thorough knowledge of all security related IC, and DoD regulatory guidance- Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Oversight Manual (NISPOM) security policy and procedures- Working knowledge of classification, control, marking, and dissemination principles and requirements- Demonstrated experience working directly with management of security programs with minimal guidance or direction- Demonstrated experience working with industrial security staffsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- A Bachelor''s Degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of related experience. In lieu of degree, candidates with 11+ years of relevant work experience may be considered also.- The ability to lead and manage day-to-day security business operations as a value-added member of the functional support team.- Candidate must comply with DCID/ICD, and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
