Primary responsibilities include: new account development (may necessitate large group presentations, requiring the coordination of various groups of people, product knowledge, public speaking skills, and the use of various pieces of equipment for giving demonstrations), service and growth of existing customers: Various reports to include sales forecasting, sales reports, gap analyses and strategic plans.Essential Job Functions:1)Sell electronic math and science curriculum products to achieve revenue targets.2)Develop strategy to independently manage all business, new and renewals, for a specific geographic territory.3)Travel to customer accounts, trade conferences, Sales Meetings when requested.Additional Job Functions:1)Develop and maintain a positive business relationship with management, inside sales, and related cambium Learning department staff.Required Skills and Abilities:1)Must possess a Bachelor Degree or higher.2)Minimum three years selling to the K-12 Education Market with current contacts.3)Must have negotiation and persuasion skills.4)Ability and willingness to travel.5)Must be self motivated; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; organizational skills.6)Ability to analyze and make decisions under stressful conditions.7)Ability to work independently and in partnerships.Preferred Skills and Abilities:1)Expertise in Math or Science.2)Knowledge of on-line curriculum products and services.3)Knowledge of math and/or science curriculum.4)Understanding of the K-12 market.5)Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.6)Math, Science and/or Technology contacts in California.For consideration, access our
