to day operation of the Maintenance Department and
reports to the Maintenance Manager. The department
consists of mechanical supervisors, an electrical
supervisor, mechanics, electricians, and plant
equipment oilers. Coordination of work activities
between departments is a must. Equal amount of
time will be spent in the office and in the field
assisting as necessary.
Job Requirements
4 yr degree in engineering discipline required,
Mechanical Engineering preferred.
5+ years heavy industrial experience
Cement plant experience
Will consider field work in large scale industrial
construction as an asset.
Knowledge of heavy rotating equipment/large
equipment is required.
Computer skills that include the use of Word,
Excel, Project.
Demonstrated planning skills.

Manufactures all of the major types of Portland
and Specialty cement used in the California,
Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. Plant is located on the
rim of the Mojave Desert and has been an integral
part of the community and its commerce since 1988.
The Location
The company is located in Southern California less
than 1 1/2 hours from the beaches and great
skiing/snowboarding less than two hours from Los
Angeles and Palm Springs and three hours from Las
Vegas. The sun shines over 300 days of the year.
