This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role for a fast growing innovative business.As a Senior Marketing Manager on the AWS Marketing team, you are responsible for driving the success of AWS Database Solutions across all audiences, and in case you missed it, the world of databases just got a whole lot more interesting with AWS and the launch of Dynamo DB. You will be responsible for defining and driving on-point messaging, creating compelling content and building the strategic marketing programs to generate global awareness and usage. The right candidate has successful experience in marketing, an unbridled passion for technology, and an entrepreneurial spirit.Roles & Responsibilities* Owns the development of all value propositions, core content, marketing, and go-to-market strategies for AWS database offerings* Demonstrated ability in crafting & developing compelling audience-specific messages and tools (product videos, customer success stories, whitepapers, presentations, how to guides etc.), to be used on the web and in campaigns* Works with product teams to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages* Collaborates with product teams and campaigns team to develop awesome global awareness programs and lead-gen campaigns, spanning online, events* Build and maintain positive relationships with industry analysts* Identifies and executes on breakthrough product marketing activities that reach target audience effectively* Owns Website content and 3rd party Social Enterprise content* Work closely with technical teams, sales/business development, PR, recruiting, evangelists, to achieve business goalsBasic Qualifications* 7+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, marketing communications and/or digital/high-technology product management* Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and marketing content* Execution orientation to develop awesome marketing assets (product videos, web content)* Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products* A Bachelor degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study* A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and a knack for driving and/or being associated with benchmark industry products/services* Accomplished range of skills from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution* Proven success in managing complex and multi-faceted marketing programs with the ability to drive projects through completion* The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously* Superior oral and written communication skills* The ability to create innovative and targeted marketing programs that generate results.* The candidate must also be a strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executivesPreferred Qualifications* MBA is preferred* Product marketing experience with database products** For more information on Amazon Web Services, please visit http://aws.amazon.com ***LI-IA3
