<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Descriptions:To plan, direct, perform and supervise the company''s Environmental, Health, and Safety functions to include Policies, Recordkeeping, Compliance, Training, Enforcement, and other duties as required. The EHS Manager is responsible for the overall execution of the company''s safety, health and environmental process. Includes ensuring a cost effective safe operation and infrastructure are in place to support the company goals/objectives. Acts as liaison and represents the company in compliance related activities, and interfaces with insurance company representatives, when warranted.Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Administers and maintains all EHS related policies and procedures, safety and training files, and other sensitive and/or confidential information.* Perform and administer company EHS functions, including training, input for EHS related corrective actions, and compliance activities.* Collects and analyzes data to provide management with internal reports as required.* Supports all levels of the corporation in budget preparation by providing relevant information when appropriate, including EHS equipment, supplies, training, contracts, and other data as required.* Develops and administers the company safety program, ensuring compliance with CalOSHA, CUPA, and other applicable regulations.* Establishes and administers training program for safety, compliance, and other training as necessary.* Administer and support applicable government agency compliance, including environmental regulations, CalOSHA/OSHA, security/fire, etc.* Reviews, maintains and interacts with brokers for all insurance policies, including liability, workers compensation, automobile and other necessary insurance.* Maintain forklift training program, including conducting training, testing and approving personnel for forklift licenses.* Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Experience:* Bachelor''s degree in occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, or related field; or 3-5 years of experience in the field of Occupational Safety and Health.* Solid Mentoring skills in developing and coaching management team.* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; Sound understanding of administrative and management principles and their creative application on-the-job.* Ability to identify business process improvements and report existing deficiencies as they relate to safety. Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.* Computer skills required, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to include training, addressing employee compliance issues, and inter-acting with internal and external contacts.* Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks.* Ability to work independently (or with minimum supervision) and efficiently and be results oriented.* Experience with developing and administering Safety Programs.* Ability to qualify as a licensed forklift driver and trainer.* Certificates and Licenses: ASSE member, ASP/CSP preferred.Physical Demands:The EHS Manager must be safely capable of lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the Safety Manager is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance and talk or hear. The individual may frequently be required to stand; walk; sit; and climb for extended periods of time.
