JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Summary  Develops prospects and identifies contacts to generate sales of the companys products and services.  Makes cold calls and reaches out to active and inactive agents to rebuild relationships and increase sales opportunities.  Monitors outstanding proposals and makes follow up calls to review proposals, determine status and make revisions as needed.
Essential Functions
Calls prospective agents and brokers to make appointments for visits by Regional Sales Manager.
Completes a minimum of 35 calls per day to generate sales opportunity for assigned territory.
Interacts with agents and all outside areas to finalize appointments and generate sales opportunities.
Recruits new agents and educates them on Companys products and services.
Works to obtain quote requests from prospective agents.
Participates on sales team calls and interacts with team members to establish best practices and implement new processes to increase sales for territory.
Researches carrier benefits and makes recommendations for integration of our product with new benefit plans.
Completes activity reports and documents call activity within established time frames.
Meets established goals in the areas of completed calls and appointments set on a weekly basis.
Hosts Webinars as scheduled to educate brokers and agents on the companys products and services.
Attends monthly marketing meetings and interacts with other Field Service Representatives to establish best practices and improve service levels.
Works with assigned sales team to improve results and increases sales for the territory.

Proven interpersonal skills, experienced in customer relations.
Ability to influence outside partners and identify positive alternatives to claim system limitations.
Computer knowledge with skill to navigate Web.
Valid Life/Health Insurance License satisfying State of California requirements.
Work Experience  Education Requirements
The position requires knowledge/experience in the insurance industry, two years is desired.
Valid State of California Insurance License Life/Health
