Located among a delightful residential community and in between beach communities and business parks, Shadowridge Country Club provides the best climate for year-around golf. We pride ourselves on offering one of the most challenging and well-kept courses in all of San Diego as well as an athletic facility, banquet services and Member dining.POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for providing food and beverage STAR Service to Members/Guest ensuring satisfaction, Member retention, and coordinating with the other Club departments. Also, responsible for ensuring successful execution of the food and beverage activities and functions happening at the club during his/her shift. Consistently display the 3 Steps of Service at all opportunities to provide service. Maintain ClubCorp service standards as outlined in the Hospitality First training program at high standardsResponsible for the service of food and beverage to the Members and guests, adhering to the ClubCorp standards of service.Indirectly supervises service staff to ensure consistent service and execution of Member/Guest F&B experience.Complete and comprehensive knowledge of the al carte menu is mandatory, including daily features and specials that may not be available directly on the menu.Responsible for overseeing events/banquets and making sure food is out on time. Responsible for communicating with host, after event, to ensure that everything met their standards. Also, responsible for collecting the payment for the event, completing necessary paperwork and depositing payment and paperwork with accounting department.Assist fellow Employee Partners, Members and guests to ensure delivery of the 3 steps of service without being directed. Be aware of team members and the environment and participate as a member of the team. Responsible for the completion of additional duties as assigned periodically by the F&B Director, and Private Events Director, etc.Responsible for possessing clear knowledge of all various liquors, beer and wines available by the Club.Job Requirements :Three years experience as a server, floor or bartending supervisor in a la carte/private dining service.High-energy, outgoing personality with strong &ndash; professional interpersonal communication skills.Proven track record of team leadership and motivation skills.Attention to set up and service details are a must.Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with Members, Employee Partners and guests.Possesses a passion for exceeding Member expectations and a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality Member and guest experience.(Internal candidates should be STAR Service certified and STAR Coach Certified. A working knowledge of ClubCater, Aloha and Kronos are a plus.)
