JOB SUMMARY:

solving non-routine problems using independent
judgment and discretion, and ensuring client
satisfaction with products and service.
Coordinates with account manager to ensure needs
are met and potential problems are averted. Keeps
account manager informed of account status and
opportunities for expanded business. Makes on-site
presentations to existing and prospective clients
to educate and inform. May be involved in new
account installations.
Provide efficient, high quality service to our
clients and brokers that will assist in growing
our business and increasing retention. Develop
and maintain relationships with brokers and
clients by attending Mid Year Reviews, adhering to
the Pro-Active Service Plan for assigned book of
business and other meetings as needed. Partner
with the Client Manager in the development of
client strategies. Provide primary coverage of
enrollment meetings and effectively communicating
benefits, health fairs, lunch and learns. Train
the clients on our Client Portals and
administrative processes and procedures. Work
with sales representatives and client managers to
support the new sale and group renewal processes.
This includes creation of benefit summaries and
confirming state mandates, determining enrollment
materials, coordination and participation of the
implementation process and wellness strategies for
clients. Strong analytical ability and able to
work toward specific measurable performance
targets for self, accounts and team. Works with
Clients and Brokers on a daily basis responding to
complex inquires and solving problems using
independent judgment and ensuring client
satisfaction. Address issues including Benefit
Administration, Wellness and Health, Enrollment
Strategy, Employer/Employee Consumerism and
proactive service. Respond in an effective and
timely manner to inquiries. Strong communication
and organizational skills to effectively
communicate and interact with all levels and
functions within the organization. Ability to
manage multiple and divergent priorities and
deadlines, work independently and pro-actively,
negotiate and manage expectations for mutually
acceptable solutions and creatively problem-solve
effective customer solutions Maintain knowledge
of all systems, products, programs, services,
benefits and utilize this knowledge in effective
resolution of client or member issues regarding
billing for guaranteed cost and ASO clients,
benefit/claim inquiries and administrative items.
Manage and own overall service and issue
resolution on assigned book of business and
collaborate with the matrix partners in this
delivery.
Ability and willingness to travel to visit clients
in various geographic locations with travel
estimated at 50% of the time Obtain appropriate
State Health/Life License within 30-60 days of
employment. Bachelors degree in business
administration, business communication or
marketing, or other appropriate professional
degree preferred. Strong background/knowledge in
healthcare products and services, marketing and
sales processes, preferably within the managed
healthcare industry. Minimum of three years work
experience in account management/account
services/sales, or other areas requiring
significant customer interaction and ability to
effectively problem-solve issues to resolution.
