Oversee compliance with job duties to meet established goals. Manage and monitor productivity. Quality management on a regular basis to ensue accuracy. Promote performance improvement and address education needs. Maintain adequate staffing and training of new employees. Oversee installation and implementation of software. Secure successful training of all personnel and other affected employees. Assure that medical records and related health information are collected, analyzed and maintained in an accurate and secure manner. Continuous communication with Chief Financial Officer, department staff, physicians and other departments. Management of HIM clerks, transcriptionists; OSHPD,JCAHO and other government reporting. Develop and implement process improvement and quality management plans. Plan and implement compliance task force issues. Attend, schedule and participate in required hospital meetings and functions. Gather, report and present statistics as needed to committees, administration and outside agencies; provide inservice and education to staff and other hospital employees. Provide support to Facility Privacy Officer to ensure Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act requirements are met within the organization.Education:Baccalaureate Degree in Health Information Management or Associate
